The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of the world’s longest-running and most controversial conflicts.  An outbreak of violence in the ongoing Israeli–Palestinian conflict commenced on 10 May 2021, though disturbances took place earlier, and continued until a ceasefire came into effect on 21 May. It was marked by protests and rioting, police riot control, rocket attacks on Israel by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Israeli airstrikes targeting the Gaza Strip.

Urubuga rw’Itangazamakuru “(Club de la Presse) of this Sunday 23-05-2021 broadcasted in synergy by eleven radio stations across the country and a Television (TV Isango star) focused on “"Israel and Palestine: Why is the international community a dimwitted blindman?"

The guests explained that the heart of this conflict between two self-determination movements — the Jewish Zionist project and the Palestinian nationalist project —lay claim to the same territory. But it is so, so much more complicated than that, with seemingly every fact and historical detail small and large litigated by the two sides and their defenders.

The invitees pointed out that it is difficult to resolve disputes between the two states because they are based on a divine history.

They also criticized the international community for continuing to look at the issue and point out that this is not the first time international organizations have been watching idly the wars killing the innocent civilians.

They said the two sides should look for solutions, first look at their own interests instead of waiting for the international community to come to their aid to solve the problems because everyone who enters in this issue is looking at their own interests.
