Recently on May 30, 2020, almost no one knew his name, an African American man named George Floyd, 46, who was killed during his arrest by a chauvinist Derek police officer in Minneapolis.

Video and photos showing his arrest and death have gone viral, and people around the world have spoken out against this racial crime. One of the words that came up most often was "unbearable, unbearable crime, unbearable situation".

The death of George Floyd has become the emblem of several protests, riots, in several cities across the United States and even in other circles in countries around the world.

“Urubuga rw’Itangazamakuru” (Club  de la Presse)  talk show of   Sunday 07-06-2020, broadcasted in synergy by ten radio stations across the country and one Television (TV Isango star) focused on “Racism and discrimination against Black people around the world and how they strive to overcome”

The invitees:

1. Dr. Sébastien GASANA

2. Rev. Cedric KANANA

Rév Cedric KANANA said that racism and discrimination against blacks is an old system, since even in the 15th century that it took a theoretical form and then became a political issue. Racism and ethnic discrimination in the United States has been a major phenomenon since the colonial era and the era of slavery. So the case of George Floyd is considered an alarm of revolt because racial politics remains a major phenomenon in western countries.

He added that whites have never valued blacks in addition to despising and treating them as inferior to them whether mentally and emotionally

Dr Gasana Sebastien said that by constant protests against the death of George Floyd is like a signal of revolt against racism and discrimination made to the Blacks. Because if we analyze well we see that the giant demonstrations taking place in the United States, United Kingdom via Australia or Switzerland, thousands of black and white people mobilized in memory of George Floyd but ideologically in the immediate goal of claiming and showing their values.

Step by step all these actions of demonstrations of protests, the politics of racism and discrimination will be amortized until the black people will have proportional value.

The audience reacted on this topic, mostly saying that it is time for blacks to join forces to fight for their values and raise their voices.
